User Agreement

This User Agreement ("Agreement") is a legally binding contract between you ("User") and Sharebucks, LLC ("Sharebucks," "Shelp," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the Sharebucks mobile application and platform ("App") and all related services offered by Sharebucks. By accessing or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering, accessing, or using the App, you agree to abide by this Agreement and any additional guidelines, terms, or rules applicable to specific services.

2. Scope of Services

Sharebucks is a peer-to-peer humanitarian aid platform that facilitates service exchanges between users. Sharebucks connects individuals and communities through:

• MealShare – Home-cooked meals provided to others in need.
• EcoRide – Carpooling and ridesharing services.
• ItemShare – Gifting or lending items.
• Childcare – Cooperative playdates and babysitting arrangements.
• PetCare – Pet-sitting, walking, and related tasks.
• Recycle – Redistribution of used goods.
• Social/Events – Organizing social or community-building activities.
• Competitions – Earn Sharebucks through performance or participation.

Important Disclaimer: Sharebucks does not directly provide these services. Instead, the platform acts solely as a facilitator of peer-to-peer exchanges.

3. No Liability for Service Providers or Partners

Sharebucks, LLC is not a party to any agreement between users or between users and institutions who participate in or support the platform. Accordingly, Sharebucks, LLC, and all partner institutions (including but not limited to churches, school districts, universities, and businesses) are held harmless and without liability for:

• The performance, quality, safety, legality, or outcome of any service rendered via the App
• Injuries, damages, accidents, or disputes arising from or during services
• Issues related to food safety, transportation incidents, caregiving responsibilities, or pet handling
• Any misuse or misrepresentation by users on or off the platform

All users expressly waive any claim against Sharebucks or its partners for direct, indirect, or consequential damages.

4. Platform Use Only – No Employment or Agency

All users act as independent individuals and not as employees, agents, or representatives of Sharebucks or its partners. No joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship is created by use of the App.

5. Sharebucks Currency and Activity

"Sharebucks" are non-monetary digital credits used to recognize participation in the platform. They hold no real-world cash value and may not be transferred, exchanged for cash, or used outside the App.

Sharebucks can be earned through:

• Completing requests posted by others
• Participating in competitions or activities
• Performing verified acts of kindness

Use of Sharebucks is voluntary and does not imply any promise, guarantee, or expectation of compensation or service quality.

6. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

• Violate any law or regulation
• Endanger or harm others
• Misrepresent themselves or their ability to perform a service
• Distribute or prepare food without reasonable hygiene or care
• Abuse the trust of others in rideshare or caregiving roles
• Use Sharebucks for fraudulent, exploitative, or manipulative behavior

Users must treat others with respect and ensure all services are delivered with good faith, safety, and dignity.

7. Assumption of Risk

By using the Sharebucks platform, you assume full responsibility for any risk, damage, or loss associated with the use of any service, including but not limited to:

• MealShare: Foodborne illness, dietary concerns, preparation hazards
• EcoRide: Vehicular accidents, injury, or delay
• Childcare: Injury, safety concerns, or miscommunication
• PetCare: Allergies, bites, or lost animals
• Recycle/ItemShare: Defective items, misunderstandings, or safety risks

You agree to take appropriate precautions and acknowledge that Sharebucks does not verify the capabilities, identity, or integrity of users.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sharebucks, LLC, its officers, employees, volunteers, and all affiliated partner organizations (churches, universities, school districts, and businesses) from any claim, liability, loss, or expense (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the App
• Your participation in or delivery of services
• Any breach of this Agreement
• Any injury, loss, or damage related to your actions or omissions

9. Partner Protections

Sharebucks actively partners with organizations to promote humanitarian outreach. All partners (including religious institutions, schools, etc.) are fully protected from any liability or claim resulting from any service arranged through the App.

These institutions:

• Are not responsible for vetting users
• Do not supervise or enforce service standards
• Do not assume any legal risk or insurance obligation
• Are not liable for service performance, payment, or misconduct

Any participation by partners is voluntary and strictly non-binding.

10. Ownership & Intellectual Property

All software, branding, and content associated with Sharebucks are the exclusive property of Sharebucks, LLC. Unauthorized copying or use is prohibited.

11. Modifications

We may update this Agreement at any time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated terms.

12. Termination

Sharebucks may suspend or terminate your account for violations of this Agreement, illegal behavior, or other concerns, at its sole discretion.

13. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
